2D Image to 3D Model

Upload a JPG or transparent PNG, ask DeepSeek to rebuild it as procedural Three.js code, preview the generated model, then download GLB or STL.

DeepSeek pipeline
The image is sent to the project DeepSeek endpoint for model-code generation. Export still runs in this browser tab.

3D preview

OrbitControls
Upload an image and generate a model to fill the preview.

How the image-to-3D workflow works

This tool is designed for quick, inspectable game-asset prototyping rather than one-click photogrammetry. It turns a reference image into a structured procedural model brief, generates Three.js geometry from that brief, renders the result locally in the browser, and lets you export the generated mesh as GLB or STL.

What the tool actually generates

The source image is used as visual reference for a procedural reconstruction. The generation step identifies the main subject, breaks it into components, infers simple materials and proportions, and returns code plus a structured specification. That makes the result easier to inspect and edit than an opaque mesh produced by a black-box converter.

When GLB is the better choice

Choose GLB when the result will return to a web or game workflow. GLB can carry a scene hierarchy, transforms, geometry and material information in one binary file and is widely supported by Three.js and common DCC tools. It is the most practical default for browser previews and game-engine import.

When STL is useful

Choose STL when you only need triangle geometry for a CAD-adjacent or fabrication workflow. STL does not preserve the richer scene and material structure available in GLB, so it is intentionally treated as a geometry export rather than the primary game-asset format.

What to use as a source image

Clean references work best: one main object, readable silhouette, limited occlusion and a camera angle that exposes the important proportions. A busy background or a subject cropped by the frame gives the generator less reliable evidence about shape. JPG and PNG files up to 10 MB are accepted.

How to evaluate the result

Use the orbit preview before downloading. Check the silhouette from several angles, inspect the reported mesh and triangle counts, and read the generated specification for assumptions and limitations. If the result misunderstands a component, use a clearer reference rather than treating the first generation as ground truth.

Privacy and limitations

The selected image is sent to the project generation endpoint because model analysis cannot happen entirely inside the browser. The tool is intended for assets you have the right to process. Generated geometry is an interpretation of a 2D reference and should be reviewed before production use, especially when exact dimensions or hidden surfaces matter.

Image-to-3D FAQ

Is this photogrammetry?
No. It creates a procedural 3D interpretation from a single image; it does not reconstruct measured geometry from a multi-photo scan.
Does the browser create the downloadable file?
Yes. After generation, the Three.js scene is previewed in the browser and the GLB or STL export is produced client-side from the generated model.
Which format should I download for a web game?
GLB is usually the better fit because it preserves more scene structure and is directly supported by common web 3D pipelines.
