A fox spirit descends on the Lantern Festival to save a mortal scholar.
An otome interactive drama adapted from Pu Songling's Liaozhai Zhiyi tale 'Xin Shisi Niang'. You are Xin Shisi Niang, cousin to the young lord of Fox Mountain, telling the story from a fox-spirit female point of view. Chapter One threads fifteen story beats across an Upper Yuan lantern night, a poetry hall, the fox-mountain descent, and the Chu mansion frame-up: every choice moves affinity for the two male leads — the down-and-out mortal scholar Feng Sheng and the fox-mountain prince Xuan Ying — seeds one of seven clues, and sets flags that carry into later chapters. The antagonist is the mandate-forger Chu Gongzi, whose frame-up is named on every route. Four chapter-end states — one of them a hidden bad-end route — split cleanly across the two male leads.
