Kygo Real Attack Lead 3 Nexus Pluck — Cloud-10
This is a recreation of the ACTUAL steps that Kygo took to make his classic pluck. First, I opened ReFX Nexus 4, loaded up the preset "Attack Lead 3," turned off the built-in delay and reverb, then I routed it to a mixer track, where I loaded Guitar Rig 6. From there, I loaded the "3D Mangler" preset, and adjusted the knobs as follows: Res: 0.45 Rate: 0.46 Mod Depth 1: 0.13 Reverb: 0.63 Then I EQed out the lower frequencies, and made it brighter. Finally I added dblue Crusher and made a nice bitcrushing effect at level 3 sample reduction. If you didn't understand this, no matter! Just use the sample and enjoy!
